What the seller says::

The things we love about Memphis include all the great parks, access to education, and that “southern feel and hospitality”. We are also only 20 minutes away from the University of Memphis and Shelby Farms Park, which is one of the twenty largest urban parks in the United States. The park is 4,500 acres with biking & horse trails, fishing & boating, plus playgrounds. It covers more than five times the area of Central Park in New York!.

Our neighborhood is small, quite, surrounded by trees and conveniently located to Naval Support Activity Millington, two golf courses and shopping at Wolfchase Galleria.

We love to eat at Babalu’s Tapas & Tacos. They serve fresh, delicious, Latin-inspired cuisine and the best guacamole you’ve every tasted.

Grocery stores are plentiful and we are only five minutes from the Walmart Neighborhood Market. If you have never been to one, it is a scaled down version of a Wal-Mart Supercenter. It contains a full grocery section, pharmacy, and gas station. Need a gallon of milk or some diapers? Well, it is all just around the corner from your new home.

Several things that drew us to the property were the proximity to Naval Support Activity Millington (where I work), the fact that the neighborhood was small, and we had access to all the amenities of Bartlett (shopping, restaurants, library), but only have to pay county taxes.

One of the thing we love about the area most is that it feels like we live out in the country, but can be anywhere we need to go in 10 to 20 minutes.snapsold-MLS-16459-11

A few other things we like about the area is that you have convenient access to I-40 if you need to head east of west for travel, Bass Pro Shops just built their largest store downtown, the FEDEX Forum is a great venue for watching either the Memphis Grizzlies or Memphis Tigers play basketball, and having an International Airport makes travel for work or pleasure a breeze.  We also enjoy the variety of activities around the city. Memphis offers everything from arts & music to fitness & education. If there is something you want to do, you can find it in this town.

Some of the hobbies we enjoy are hunting and fishing. If you are a sportsman, the hunting and fishing opportunities are amazing. With Tennessee touching Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Kentucky and Illinois, you can hunt and fish year round.

Our utility costs are very reasonable and having MLG&W provide our electricity, gas, and water is very convenient as they are all combined on a single bill.

Average Electricity Bill (Winter) = $78.00
Average Electricity Bill (Summer) = $205.00
Average Water Bill = $14.00
Average Gas Bill (Winter) = $65.00
Average Gas Bill (Summer) = $15.50
Trash/Waste Disposal = $20.00 per month
