When we bought the property, we were drawn to the homey feel of the cove that we were on. We liked the front porch and could easily envision sitting on the front porch and watching the neighborhood kids play. We liked the friends and family entrance. When we first walked into the house we loved the double French doors in the living room which looked out to the backyard.
Our area is wonderful for families with kids of ALL ages.We enjoy walking our dogs. We walk them around our neighborhood, in adjoining neighborhoods and throughout a good part of Arlington. We also like to take them to Shelby Farms. Our dogs love the HUGE off-leash dog park at Shelby Farms! We both enjoy exercise and the gym is less than five minutes from the house.
Our utilities are with MLGW. The City of Arlington water and sewage fees are billed through MLGW also. Our utilities are very reasonable. We have separate heating and cooling systems for the upstairs and downstairs. We take advantage of the ceiling fan in the great room and the fact that hot air rises to distribute warm air in the winter and cool air in the summer, in order to keep our utility costs down.
